The request by the White House for $1.5 trillion dollars for defense spending must be met by a firm “no” by New York’s representatives. It is outrageous that while gutting spending on health, the environment, education and food security while starting a completely unnecessary war, they come crawling to the American taxpayer to fund their aggression and belligerence. Congress must do everything it can to throw a wrench in the works of Trump’s and Hegseth’s war machine. Their stupidity and cruelty must be brought under control.
