It has come to my attention that KOSA (The Kids Online Safety Act is moving forward in the House under this KIDS Act package. Which within this package, it’s filled with Digital ID and age verification along with censorship. This is the most disappointing news yet, especially given not only does this KIDS Act package is such a violation of our 1st, 4th, 5th, and 9th Amendment rights, but it’s such anti-American as well. Age identification and digital IDs was not created to protect children in mind, but rather to restrict our privacy, anonymity, and free speech. Plus many cybersecurity experts have pointed out that these age identification and digital IDs doesn’t work and its overall, not worth it. Especially considering that areas that do digital IDs, more than not leads to massive data breaches and thousands of individual’s IDs being leaked. So please oppose the KIDs Act package and all the bills within it like KOSA, The SPY KIDS Act, COPPA 2.0, and The Safe Social Media Act to name a few.
