Dear Representative, Recent events demand that we do all we can to preserve NATO and the international rule of law. In this light, we need to create a firm affirmation that Greenland is not for sale and that Congress opposes any actions toward that end. Former Russian President Medvedev recently Medvedev stated that seizing Greenland by the US would be “useful for improving the global climate." Furthermore, Medvedev urged Trump to "hurry," lest a "sudden referendum" be held in Greenland, after which Russia would "create a new 90th federal subject." European nations have denied there is any threats from Russia or China. This is a power grab suggested by Putin aligned friend of Trump Ronald Lauder and supported by tech oligarchs. We have seen this consistent desire to destroy NATO from within on behalf of Russia. We must communicate clearly that we will not be following Putin’s foreign policy requests. Putin clearly had his own defense stand down in Venezuela to replace one puppet Maduro, with a more reliable puppet. Now we are likely to see a similar Kabuki act with Iran as the leader sends his gold to Russia and yet another Russia aligned puppet regime will surely step in. Russia, China, Iran and North Korea are the new #AxisOfEvil and if we do not act QUICKLY to make clear Greenland is off limits and Congress does not agree with the president’s foreign policy we will retreat it. Make the GOP go in record supporting Putin’s foreign policy and destroy America’s reputation as a country who follows the rule of law. Please let’s get this in place before it it too late. Thank you!
