To the members of congress representing New York State:
Now that the primary election is over, the country is running on limited time before radical policies are put into place that threaten the very foundation of our democracy. What initiatives are the house and senate taking to protect the little progress we've made over the last 4 years? Are we going to be complacent and let Project 2025 come into full motion? I urge you all to act. Meet with your fellow congress members, and devise plans to protect this country. The election turned out this way in part due to the complicit, old-fashioned attitudes of the current Congress and cabinet. You all have a responsibility to uphold the constitution and protect the interests of the American people. Being an elected government official means you are a public servant- now is the time more than ever to serve the public. If everything falls apart, you are all equally to blame regardless of party. We New Yorkers elected you to represent us, and lack of action today will result in years of failure. There are two months left, I urge you to make the most of them.
