“It is not an overstatement to say that the Trump administration has launched the worst White House assault in history on the environment and public health. Day by day and hour by hour, the administration is destroying one of the signature achievements of our time,” said Manish Bapna, the president and CEO of the environmental nonprofit Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC). “If this assault succeeds, it could take a generation or more to repair the damage.”  As your constituent, I am asking you to stop supporting the destruction of our environmental safeguards that have taken decades to develop and implement. You have a duty to protect the health, safety and well being of your constituents and all other Americans. Your craven, unflinching support of the Project 2025 agenda being implemented by Trump and his cabinet makes you complicit in destroying the US environment. Even your MAGA supporters are going to wake up to the wanton destruction of the scientifically developed safeguards that have begun to clean up our air, water, rivers, lakes and streams. If you don’t stop participating in Trump’s destruction of these safeguards your constituents, families, grandchildren and beyond will suffer needlessly as the US environment deteriorates. Please do the right things for your constituents and the country: Stop supporting Trump’s destruction of our environment.
