President Biden and Congress, Why are you still sending weapons to Israel, when more than 2/3 of your constituents disapprove? Why are you still sending weapons to Israel, when it is illegal under international law? Why are you still sending weapons to Israel, when they have refused every reasonable ceasefire deal? Why are you still sending weapons to Israel, when they have continuously bullied, lied, tortured, and targeted children, journalists, medical and aid workers? Why are you still sending weapons to Israel, when they have repeatedly targeted safe zones, refugee camps, hospitals, and schools? What will it take for you to stop sending weapons to the world’s worst actors, so that they may slaughter the innocent with impunity? Millions of voters are watching. We are watching, and we know this comes down to war profiteering. We are watching, and we know that your continuing support of Israel is damning our future hopes for a livable and peaceful planet. We are watching, and we are tired of being stained and implicated by your shameful, self-serving actions. Do you want a blue wave in November? Then pay attention to the numbers. The majority of American voters (and the world) support an end to our support of this genocide. We want peace and self-determination and AID and REPARATIONS for Palestine. With our support, Israel has become a violent and destructive force in the world. It must end. This must end. And it will, either by you doing what you know is the right thing, or by circumstances far less desirable. How would you like to go down in history? The decision is yours.
