I am demanding that you immediately initiate impeachment proceedings against every member of the Trump regime responsible for acts of piracy, theft of sovereign resources, and waging an unauthorized war against Venezuela. These are high crimes and misdemeanors that require immediate action to remove this criminal administration from power. The Trump administration ordered the illegal seizure of the oil tanker Skipper off the coast of Venezuela using Coast Guard members, Marines, and special forces launched from the USS Gerald Ford. When asked what would be done with the stolen oil, Trump openly confessed "We keep it, I guess... I assume we're going to keep the oil." This is an admission of international piracy and theft by a president with terribly low intelligence, talent, and energy who lacks the capacity to understand the gravity of ordering the United States military to commit armed robbery against a sovereign nation in international waters. Venezuela has rightfully condemned this as an act of international piracy and a grave international crime. The administration's claim that the vessel was involved in illicit oil shipping is meaningless when the seizure occurred without legal jurisdiction in international waters. The United States does not have the authority to unilaterally enforce its sanctions through military force and then steal the seized property. This is not law enforcement. This is state-sponsored theft. This is not an isolated incident. The US has conducted at least 22 strikes on boats in the Caribbean since September, killing at least 80 people. The administration has positioned thousands of troops and the USS Gerald Ford for military action against Venezuela, and sources confirm more seizures are planned. This is an undeclared war that Congress has not authorized. Congress has the sole constitutional authority to declare war. Trump, Attorney General Pam Bondi, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and every member of this regime complicit in these actions have circumvented this authority to wage an illegal military campaign, commit piracy, and steal resources from other nations. These are impeachable offenses. File articles of impeachment immediately against the entire Trump administration and hold hearings to stop this criminal regime before they escalate further and drag this country into an illegal war.
