He ordered the firing of Jan. 6 prosecutors, threatened to purge the FBI, and dropped corruption charges against New York City's mayor in an alleged quid pro quo agreement. Most alarmingly, Bove directed DOJ officials to "ignore" court orders interfering with the administration's deportation operations, a blatant violation of judicial authority.
