To any Congressmen trying to validate their votes to increase Hometown Security's budget, DON'T. I saw the press release from my representative trying to say that there are oversight commitments in the new budget. They have a $170 million budget. They've purchased 2 private planes for Noem. They spent about $200 million for publicity and hired a company that was established days prior and with ties to her and her to DHS aides so she can cos play with costumes. Congress already has oversight. It shouldn't have to be a special section in the budget. Do your jobs. You don't get an organization to stop or change what they're doing by giving them more money, you give them permission. This weakness from our elected officials is disheartening and disgusting. We have had to watch 2 American citizens murdered by the state sanctioned military in our streets. Then go on with our day like nothing happened. But something did happen. The DHS and this whole administration is run by people that are not qualified for they jobs. The majority of American people do not like what they are seeing. You will be remembered in history as aiding and abetting this corruption if you vote yes. Is that your legacy to your children. One day someone is going to ask, did you fight back? What's your answer going to be? Shutting down the House is a cowards way out. Stand up for our values.
