The government’s assaults on the press are unconscionable. A free press is foundational to this nation and for the government to investigate journalists for reporting the truth is beyond the pale. Just because someone doesn’t like what the press is saying doesn’t mean they suppress it. This is two-bit dictator stuff and it must end.
