Stop student loan debt privatization! Collection of student loan debt should not be outsourced to for-profit debt collectors in the business of collecting private debts. Trump has thrown student loan collections into chaos, starved the department of education, and is now making increasingly obvious efforts to offload student debt to private interests, counter to the agreements attached to that debt. The Trump administration continues to make every effort to enrich themselves and private business interests at our expense. Stand up for Americans and stop this attempt to capitalize on public student loan borrowers.
