NO HJ Res. 140. Save the Boundary Waters. No forever-pollution from mining

To: Sen. Collins, Sen. King

From: A verified voter in Lewiston, ME

April 5

NO HJ 140 It's appalling to think anyone would want to remove the block against mining in the Boundary Waters. Even more appalling to think of opening up the Boundary Waters to the forever pollution of Copper Sulphide Mining conducted for a Chilean mining mogul linked to Jared Kushner. Please vote NO on HJ Res 140 Remember that support for the Boundary Waters is broad and bipartisan. And that the annual income from Boundary Water tourism is greater than the mining profits... which will not go to us in any case. Please protect our wild places. Don't allow the boundary waters to be wrecked for short-term profit.
