The damage of the confirmation of Justice Kavanaugh is ongoing. The price paid by Dr. Blasey Ford and survivors of sexual violence everywhere cannot be underestimated. Please do not allow another known abuser take power. Regardless of Mr. Hegseth’s promises about the future, he has shown judgment and taken action that simply disqualifies him from a leadership position in the United States government. There must be a standard of responsibility for those at the top. If we are going to hold anyone accountable for any violence against women. Please take gender based violence into consideration in this important transition. To be clear, I am asking you to vote No on the confirmation of Mr. Hegseth for Secretary of Defense or any other significant leadership role .
