First, I understand that Rep. Raskin has launched a discharge petition to force a floor vote on legislation, the No Carte Blanche Act, that would formally block the Trump administration’s $1.8 billion “Anti-Weaponization Fund.” I would like the Congressmember to sign on. Second, I understand that Rep. Suzanne Bonamici has introduced articles of impeachment against Education Secretary Linda McMahon. I want the Congressmember to support them. Students, families, and teachers need a functioning Department of Education. The Secretary should not be allowed to dismantle the department or ignore laws Congress has passed. Lastly, oppose Section 219 (formerly Section 224) of
H.R. 8800 which would give Israel unprecedented access to American military technology, while forcing the U.S. to integrate Israeli defense systems into our own supply chain. No foreign nation should have this kind of access. I will be watching this very closely. Thanks.
