The CBO score for the omnibus bill projects that if it is enacted, 16 million people will lose access to healthcare insurance over the next decade. The bill also dramatically cuts Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Plan (SNAP) benefits, clean energy credits, aid for student borrowers, benefits for federal workers, and consumer protection services, while requiring the sale of public natural resources.
I disagree with every single one of these cuts. If you care for your children, your elders, those who are coming behind you, think ahead and vote no on this bill. You are taking us down a path that will take decades to return from and we don’t even know if there will be anything worthwhile to return to.
Do your job. Stop lying. Stop following the path of a president who is leading us off a cliff.
