I am writing in regards to President Trump’s recent Executive Order that is titled “SUPPORTING AMERICA’S RANCHERS.” This executive order is not only severely harmful to the environment, but also to endangered species such as the Mexican wolf and Gray Wolf. This is very troublesome because there are approximately 319 Mexican wolves left in the wild. What is also concerning is that the President’s executive order also includes opening up between 1.6 million and 2 million acres of land that are managed by the United States Forest Service all because the President is trying to fulfill page 308 of Project 2025, which talks about how the current administration should reduce regulatory obstacles to fuel reduction in forests created by the National Environmental Policy Act and the Endangered Species Act in order to increase timber sales. Also, on page 534, it specifically talks about how the current administration should delist the Grey Wolf in the lower 48 states, which this executive order does. The President serves the people; not the Heritage Foundation. Either the President revokes this executive order or Congress must take action; otherwise, voters like me will vote out any and all politicians that align themselves with Project 2025 instead of the American people when the midterms arrive.
