I don’t know where to turn, please help my neighbors and me. We live on 42nd Street between 8th and 9th avenues in a large condo tower. I’ve reached out to NYLD, I’ve reached out to 311 a dozen plus times. So have my neighbors. I’ve reached out to the governor and the mayor! Nothing…
It’s 7:10AM and there’s a Union protest waking everyone in my 561 unit condo tower up.
I am a proponent of fair wages, I love free speech, I am becoming very intolerant of those that break the law. This protest has continued for nearly a month with blatant disregard for noise ordinances and the tax paying residents in the surrounding buildings.
The NYPD is not doing their job at enforcing, given the situation and my knowledge of other people complaining, it seems awfully likely they are getting pressure not to enforce and reprimand this behavior.
If this is the case, then those not enforcing the law should be fined and/or reprimanded. Just as Trump is not above the law, neither should people waking our families, children, neighbors up.
No one is listening. Please help.
