End inhumane immigrant detention, ensure proper housing with dignity

To: Sen. Markey, Sen. Warren, Rep. Clark

From: A constituent in Sudbury, MA

June 16

The continued detention of immigrants in the unsuitable office space of the Burlington, Massachusetts ICE facility is a grave violation of human rights and dignity. Such facilities lack adequate living conditions, posing severe health and safety risks. We urge immediate action to end this unacceptable practice at the Burlington location and ensure all detainees are transferred to properly zoned and equipped housing that meets basic humanitarian standards. Prolonging this situation is not only unethical but also illegal under established laws and regulations. Reform is urgently needed to uphold the fundamental rights of these vulnerable individuals held at the Burlington ICE facility.
