Audit the Pentagon, Don't Fund It As Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth pushes for a staggering $1.5 trillion military budget, I urge you to join the growing bipartisan coalition to reject any additional Pentagon funding. It is fundamentally irresponsible to throw more taxpayer dollars at an institution that continuously fails to account for its own spending and has never passed a comprehensive financial audit. The Pentagon routinely squanders public funds on superficial name changes, lavish meals, and unnecessary photo opportunities, demonstrating a profound lack of operational discipline. More critically, the Department of Defense continues to instigate foreign conflicts and engage in actions raising serious war-crime concerns—such as the recent escalation in Iran—completely bypassing the constitutional requirement for Congressional approval. Rewarding this systemic fiscal negligence and unauthorized military expansion with a historic budget surge betrays your duty to protect hard-working Americans. Please stand firm against this requested defense increase, demand strict accountability, and force the Pentagon to clean its own house before it receives another dime of our money.
