Last night, U.S. forces bombed Iranian military facilities at Qeshm Island. Iran responded by launching ballistic missile and drone salvos at civilian and military infrastructure in Kuwait and Bahrain.
“No new wars! No new wars!”
How many of us wanted to go to war with Iran?
Our country has become numb to DC-Double-Speak.
In the recent weeks, the Trump administration has claimed that Iranian military assets are decimated. Soon after, they say talks to normalize trade and stabilize oil prices will “work out well.”
That was 2 days ago. Today, 60 people are injured and one is dead after the primary airport in Kuwait was struck by an IRGC missile. Civilians across the Middle East fear for their lives in anticipation of a new escalation and the bombs that follow. Iran has proven they are ready to launch more missile salvos. This is not what a “defeated” military looks like.
American families were dealing with an economic crisis even before our newest war.
Our politicians should be fighting for our wages and our healthcare, not adding to the countless dead in some new oil war.
I fought in Iraq and Afghanistan. I know the kind of fallout this will lead to, for our service members involved and for the civilians caught in the fighting. War isn’t a kids game for drunkards and chicken hawk politicians who have never put any skin in the game.
End this moronic adventure 8000 miles from our nation’s borders, and quit being Netanyahu’s gutless tools.
