Democrats surrendered to the Republicans. What was the point of shutting down the government for 40 days then capitulating. What were you thinking? Americans wanted to cheer a unified opposition party, despite the pains that we were encountering. We felt so close in the last elections when the Democrats swept. Your demands were reasonable and you were standing your ground. You had the Republicans on the ropes. Donald Trump was almost a lame duck president. You were going up in the polls. We held the largest peaceful protest in American history for you. And you as Democrats capitulated entirely. We did everything in our power to try and get you to fight back against this regime in the past year. But instead, you surrendered. Now we’re gonna focus on the primary for next year. If you supported Chuck Schumer in this capitulation to the Republican Party, then I’m not going to support you for your Senate seat any longer. We are looking for a fight back faction of the party. The current version of the Democratic Party led by the current set of leaders has failed us repeatedly for more than a year now. We demand better. We need a party that is capable of pushing back against this aggression from the regime and it’s time that voters draw a line in the sand. We must change out the failed leadership that we’ve had up until this point. It’s time for the incumbent and new Senate alike to be replaced. It would be a mistake to just look at the a Democrats who voted for this capitulation. They are not the only problems. This was an orchestrated event, theatrical to say the least from the Democrats. We as informed voters know that the eight Democrats are not up for reelection or are retiring. Are you trying to fool your own voters? I demand a better party. I do not accept this leadership any longer from the Democratic Party. It is time for you both to leave your seats and let fresh new candidates who are willing to fight the whole distance for Democrats instead of capitulating to the fascist regime after 40 days. We have been held hostage long enough. You both do not get my vote next year.
