Republicans in Congress have given up their power—legislative and the power of the purse among others—to an unelected foreigner with no loyalty to the US. It is imperative that you DON’T compromise at all for this coming budget. If the government shuts down, let it be the GOP’s fault. If you try to compromise you will taint your reputation for nothing. Anyway, the President is not leading the nation in good faith and is shutting down the government himself. Maybe this shutdown needs to happen for people to wake up. Including people in congress. Also—DO NOT vote to confirm any cabinet member. They are only looking out for themselves, their dear leader, and oligarchs. Marco Rubio should not have been confirmed. The Secretary of the treasury, also not. Gabbard and Kennedy will endanger us at home and abroad. Stop playing nice. Stop giving in to terrorists. Defend us.
