I'm reaching out because I’m incredibly disturbed by a recent news story out of Oklahoma City, where an American family was subjected to an ICE raid — despite being U.S. citizens. According to reports, agents broke into their home, handcuffed them, took their phones and savings, and left them shaken and traumatized. They weren’t suspects and had no criminal record.
This kind of mistake is unacceptable. It’s a clear violation of their rights and something that should never happen to anyone, let alone citizens in their own home. It raises serious concerns about how ICE is operating and what oversight is in place to prevent this kind of overreach.
I hope you’ll look into this case and push for real accountability and reform. People shouldn’t have to fear their own government, especially when they’ve done absolutely nothing wrong.
Thank you for your time and attention.
