Vote for bills that will impede Trump’s deadline for Ukraine

The “peace” proposal the President Trump is pushing the Ukraine to sign by Thursday is nothing less than an attempt to appease Putin and his attempt to bring back the days of the USSR. The plan would give over large amounts of Ukrainian territory which would “leave Ukraine vulnerable, Europe unstable and America weaker” in the words of Senate Democratic Leaders. Pushing for this to be signed by Thursday is a move by Trump to assure Congress will not be there to counteract this heinous plan, due to the Thanksgiving break. I urge you to follow in the lead of Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick and the Ukraine Caucus to vote for the Russian sanctions legislation they have proposed. Also consider the bill Reps. Gregory Meeks and Steny Hoyer have sponsored to pair Russian sanctions with aid for Ukraine. Please act on these bills - the Ukrainian people have suffered enough.
