It absolutely pains me that the truly honorable Rep Al Green was the only Democrat making real #GoodTrouble during Dictator Trump's 90 minute lie-fest. He seems to be the only non-Vichy Democrat since the people lost Reps John Lewis and Elijah Cumming, among others. The two Senators from Georgia, one carrying on the legacy of Reverend Dr Martin Luther King, Jr, and the other mentored by hero John Lewis, your time in Congress reflects none of this extraordinary background. Those men were brave, stalwart, true to their principles regardless of the threat to their safety or careers, yet from your time in the Senate, I see catering to the ruling Nazi party, issuing mealy-mouthed statements about non-existent bipartisanship, voting for reprobates such as Marco Rubio and Doug Collins and signing unconstitutional and racist legislation like The Laken Riley Act. Your fealty to the ruling dictatorship can only be explained by one or more of the following: You are a quisling; You are obeying corporate donors over the needs of Georgians and Americans; You are not interested in a second term; You hold none of the principles you purported to have during your campaigns, and used the names and legacies of true American Civil Rights heroes to get elected. You and the rest of the Democrats need to be a united front against this Nazi takeover of the US, starting with talking to the ten Vichy Dems in the House who voted to censure Rep Green. While I never place too much hope or faith in politicians, you have been extraordinarily disappointing. Do better, and start today.
