A congressional candidate, Bernadette Greene-Placentia, has been attacked and raped while participating in the American process of running for office to support her peers and her country. This is a direct escalation of the reckless and divisive rhetoric you and the president have been shoveling onto the American people for the past several months. This is the hate your actions have sown. Basic humanity calls for you to stop this. People are getting hurt and dying. You have already experienced, many of you first hand, what this hate can lead to and how it cannot be controlled once unleashed. MAGA killed a police officer that day, tried for Pence, and came for so many of you. This young woman needs to be comforted, have this crime investigated, and supported to continue participating in the greatest calling one can receive in America. That’s your job. It’s also your job to STOP THIS before anyone else gets hurt. He’s a fascist dictator dividing and destroying America; do something.
