The Transportation Department cancelled $679 million in funding for offshore wind projects, and the Department of Energy announced it is withdrawing a $716 million loan guarantee to complete infrastructure for an offshore wind project in New Jersey. I understand that Donald Trump is adamantly opposed to any energy other than fossil fuel, but eliminating and decimating solar and wind projects is detrimental to our ongoing energy supply. It will negatively impact the health and wellbeing of human beings and our planet. It will also put us at a disadvantage with other (rational) governments who are investing in these industries. CONGRESS SHOULD STOP THIS NOW!!!
