The alliance of President Trump with Vladimir Putin is shameful, as is the US vote against the UN resolution yesterday that a country could not invade another. What has happened to us? I know you are all Republicans. I am 57 years old, and I grew up during the Cold War. The Soviet Union was the great enemy. Now there is no more Soviet Union, but Russia remains an authoritarian country, one that uses its military power to seize land. What would Ronald Reagan say? When is Congress going to grow a spine and challenge this madness?
