The Trump AI bill, the Sunset 230 Act, and the KOSA package are all setting the nation up for exploitation from other countries that have a hostile view of the US. More data breaches, more surveillance, more censorship and more threats to kids and families. That is what these bills invite simply by being passed into law. I do not exaggerate when I say that this is the result of bad policy. This would be a threat to every amendment in the Constitution, like the First, Second, Fourth, and Fifth, for instance. For years I have sat idly by while obscenity laws and laws governing speech restricted freedoms and did nothing to prevent harm to kids or anyone. Obscenity laws are an abject failure. The antiporn movement is fine supporting officials who groom and sexually assault kids, but wants to spy on my friends and family for 'safety'. Protecting kids involves so much more than these disaster bills. Kill them and actually focus on making things better for families.
