Protect privacy and free speech

To: Rep. Carter, Sen. Ossoff, Sen. Warnock

From: A constituent in Hinesville, GA

August 31, 2025

I'm writing again to respectfully urge you to reject the following bills: Kids Online Safety Act (S.1748) SCREEN Act (S.737) Interstate Obscenity Definition Act (S. 1671) Foreign Anti Digital Piracy Act (H.R. 791 ACPA BlockBEARD Act and KOSMA All of these bills would create spaces for cyber criminals to flourish, rather than fade away, all the while punishing everyone else by weakening their rights to free expression and privacy. In addition, payment processors and credit card companies have used age verification laws as an excuse to steal money from creators of legal goods and content while groomers, hackers, scammers, illegal data brokers and exploiters leak information on the dark web to enhance their criminal rings. These measures don't protect, only endanger. Please oppose all of these bills. Thank you for reading.
