Impeach and Remove President Trump Under Article II, Section 4

To: Sen. Hagerty, Rep. Ogles, Sen. Blackburn

From: A constituent in Culleoka, TN

April 9

I'm calling on you to immediately begin impeachment proceedings under Article II, Section 4 of the Constitution to remove President Trump and his administration from office. The Constitution provides a clear mechanism for removing a president, vice president, and civil officers who commit high crimes and misdemeanors. The House must impeach and the Senate must convict. This process exists precisely for moments when the executive branch threatens our constitutional order. If you believe the current administration meets this threshold, you have a constitutional duty to act. Impeachment is not a partisan tool. It's the remedy the founders built into our system to protect the republic from officials who abuse their power. Every day of inaction allows potential harm to continue. I expect you to use every tool available to hold this administration accountable, whether that means voting for articles of impeachment, publicly calling for impeachment, or pressuring leadership to move forward with proceedings. The nightmare ends when Congress exercises its constitutional authority. Do your job.
