Demand Investigation Into Operation Epic Fury War Crimes

To: Rep. Huizenga, Sen. Peters, Sen. Slotkin

From: A verified voter in Kalamazoo, MI

March 12

I need you to demand an immediate congressional investigation into Operation Epic Fury and end U.S. participation in attacks on Iranian civilian infrastructure. According to Iran's Red Crescent Society, 6,668 civilian sites were struck in the first 9 days of this operation. That's 6,668 war crimes under Article 8 of the Rome Statute. A U.S. Tomahawk missile killed 180 people at a girls' primary school in Minab, most of them children aged 8 to 12. Human Rights Watch confirmed this with satellite imagery. We've hit 13 medical facilities, including Gandhi Hospital in Tehran, forcing the evacuation of newborn babies. We destroyed a freshwater desalination plant that supplied 30 villages. A U.S. submarine sank an Iranian frigate and left survivors to drown. American media applies international law when covering alleged Russian war crimes in Ukraine but ignores identical actions when we're responsible. My tax dollars are funding these strikes. If international humanitarian law means anything, it has to apply to us too. I want you to co-sponsor legislation to halt U.S. military operations in Iran and support an independent investigation into these attacks. https://www.crustnews.com/p/the-usa-and-israel-cant-stop-committing
