Stop the conflicts of interest with Elon Musk

To: Sen. Fetterman, Sen. McCormick, Rep. Thompson

From: A verified voter in Lewisburg, PA

February 20

Elon Musk has more power than a cabinet secretary and, yet, he is not Senate-confirmed. This in itself sounds like a violation of the social contract between the American people and the government. The White House has yet to define a charge for DOGE and Musk’s team, so it sounds like they created something without forethought and are making the rules as they play the game. This is not acceptable. Elon Musk continues to advance his businesses, which have billions of dollars in contracts with the Federal Government, which is a level of conflict of interest bigger than those President Trump flew in the face of society in his first term. For example, https://doge.gov/, an official website of the United States Federal Government is directly connected with X, one of Musk’s company. Is this moral? Must is also advancing his artificial intelligence model called Grok - if at any point the Federal Government starts paying Musk’s company for the use of Grok, we will have witnessed a level of corruption that beats our worse nightmares as American taxpayers. We urge you to take action against this highway robbery.
