We demand an immediate investigation into U.S. involvement with Fernando Cerimedo—an Argentine political operative now detained in Bolivia for allegedly orchestrating the attempted assassination of his partner. Cerimedo is the Latin American Jeffrey Epstein: a well-connected predator who leveraged elite ties to operate with impunity across borders.
Cerimedo’s network reads like a who’s who of fascist leaders: Argentina’s Javier Milei (his former digital strategist), Brazil’s Jair Bolsonaro (whom he helped attempt a coup), Chile’s José Antonio Kast, Bolivia’s Rodrigo Paz (whose cabinet he reportedly commanded), and Colombia’s Abelardo de la Espriella. This is Operation Condor for the 21st century—a transnational far-right network coordinated from Miami and Washington.
Cerimedo’s U.S. ties are extensive. He is a partner of Damián Merlo, a registered foreign agent lobbying the White House for Latin American ultra-right campaigns. Cerimedo opened Numen Advisors LLC in Miami and has met with U.S. officials in Bolivia. He was honored at Mar-a-Lago for his role in Brazil’s coup attempt. U.S. tax dollars and diplomatic cover are fueling this corruption network.
To those who say this is a domestic Latin American affair: Cerimedo operates from U.S. soil, with U.S. partners, and U.S. officials have met with him. To those who say we should not interfere: we are already involved—we must stop being complicit.
We demand: A full congressional investigation into Cerimedo’s U.S. network, freezing of his U.S. assets, and an end to all official U.S. contact with his associates.
