As of June 29, 2025, nearly 600 Palestinians have been killed by the Israeli military while attempting to get aid near sites run by the "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation" – an organization run by the U.S. and Israel. [1] Survivors have described these sites as “death traps,” with more than 4,186 injuries reported, half of which were children. IDF soldiers have even openly admitted to deliberately killing unarmed aid seekers. [2] As your constituent, I urge you to co-sponsor Rep. Jayapal’s resolution (H.Res. 473), calling for the urgent delivery and disbursement of humanitarian aid to address the needs of civilians in Gaza. I urge and plead to you to demand an end to the politicization and weaponization of aid, and urge full, unrestricted humanitarian access to Gaza, with a priority of reinstating humanitarian aid groups, rather than private contractors like GHF. This is collective punishment at an unimaginable scale, a genocide unfolding in real time, enabled by U.S. support. Aid trucks are being blocked just miles away from babies and children starving to death. Hospitals are collapsing. Enough is enough. Your voice could save lives. Please speak out now.
