Protect TPS Holders — Reverse the Work Authorization Terminations

To: Rep. Casar, Sen. Cornyn, Sen. Cruz

From: A constituent in Manor, TX

July 11

End the termination of Temporary Protected Status work authorizations now. The Trump administration's move to strip TPS holders — overwhelmingly people of color from countries like Haiti — of their ability to work is discriminatory policy dressed up as immigration enforcement. This is racial targeting, plain and simple, and you need to fight it. Use every tool available to reverse this. Push for legislation that restores and permanently protects TPS work authorization. Challenge any Supreme Court decision that enables this administration to weaponize immigration status against specific nationalities. These are people who have lived and worked here legally, contributing to our communities and our economy. Ripping that away in a matter of weeks, with no meaningful path forward, is cruel and it is wrong. I expect you to stand up and say so loudly.
