I can’t stress enough how opposed I am to our recent actions in Venezuela. There is no basis for using our military to invade a foreign country and kidnap their President. This is illegal, irresponsible, and immoral. There are so many reasons this was wrong. Congress is supposed to control when the country declares war (and kidnapping another nation’s President is absolutely a declaration of war). I urge you and the rest of Congress to immediately do everything in your power to halt this abuse of power, remove us from Venezuela, and keep us from continuing to harm more people. We have absolutely no right to destabilize and conquer other nations. Please, for the love of all that is good, stop this madness.
