Stop POTUS from  pressuring law firms to extract concessions unethically

To: Sen. Hyde-Smith, Rep. Guest, Sen. Wicker

From: A constituent in Brandon, MS

April 12

The reported deals with law firms in exchange for avoiding punitive executive orders are concerning from an ethical and legal standpoint. Extracting concessions through threats of executive action undermines principles of due process and the independence of the legal profession. I urge you to stop the POTUS from  this unethical practice. The justice system functions best when it operates free from coercion or interference, allowing legal professionals to uphold their ethical duties without improper pressure. Respect for the rule of law is essential to maintaining a society with fair and equal justice for all. It is imperative that Congress act now to preserve our constitution and rule of law!
