I just read that the Trump administration is shuttering ⁠two of the three US Department of Agriculture research projects studying cyclospora. Why? This parasite has ⁠sickened tens of thousands of Americans! We should be funding the projects studying it—not cancelling them. I am frustrated beyond belief that foodborne illnesses are skyrocketing and this administration continues to take no actions to address it. RFK Jr. needs to resign and food safety inspections need to be re-funded. I’m tired of being scared to eat.
