Senator Schumer said that he was waiting for a constitutional crisis. We have crossed that red line. President Trump and his administration are ignoring a direct ruling from the Supreme Court by not retrieving Kilmar Garcia, wrongfully deported. Today, Trump stood in the Oval Office and told the president of El Salvador to build more prisons for "home-grown" prisoners. He is talking about deporting U.S. Citizens to notorious prisons in another country. This cannot hold. I am proud of the way you have been speaking out against the Trump administration, but it is time for more. I implore you to do everything in your power to stop this administration from moving forward. Stop all congressional business. Call for investigations. Use the power of the subpoena. Encourage judges to hold members of the administration in contempt. We have crossed Leader Schumer's own red line. The time is now for action.
