Launch an investigation into the Trump administration's cancellation of more than $7.5 billion in Biden-era clean energy grants. Court documents filed by the administration itself admit the terminations were made "based solely" on political criteria — targeting projects in states that voted for Kamala Harris and are represented by Democrats. That's not fiscal responsibility. That's the weaponization of public funds.
The administration told the public these cancellations were about protecting taxpayers from waste. Their own court filings say otherwise. When federal officials lie about why they're pulling billions in congressionally appropriated dollars, that's a direct attack on the separation of powers and the rule of law. This pattern extends beyond energy — education, housing, health, and infrastructure funding have all been redirected to reward political allies and punish opponents. Congress cannot let this stand without accountability.
