The Qatari government GAVE a plane to Donald Trump. A personal gift for Trump, not to the United States. Constitution (Article I, Section 9) prohibits anyone in the US Government from receiving a personal gift from a foreign head of state without the consent of Congress. Somehow, Congress (controlled in both houses by the GOP) deemed this permissible. The US government (OUR TAX DOLLARS) spent A LOT OF MONEY to retrofit this ‘gift’ to Trump and it STILL needs up to $1 BILLION to make it usable. This stinks from the very beginning. He should NOT have been able to receive a gift of this size (corruption/bribery/grift) and the American taxpayers SHOULD NOT have to pay for retrofitting a damn plane that he is going to take with him when he leaves office. AGAIN the GOP controlled Congress has given him permission. Clearly Air Force One is usable. Trump returned from Turkey in it. As am American tax payer I AM OUTRAGED!!!!!
