In your most recent “The Good, The Bad, and The Local” you talk about how wrong it is that SNAP benefits are not going out on time. I couldn’t agree with you more! However, rather than blaming Democrats, you should be honest about the fact that there is a contingency reserve for this very purpose that the Republican administration has refused to release. That is who is playing politics, and anyone educated on this manner knows it. In fact, now at least two federal judges have ruled that the Trump administration needs to release these funds and continue SNAP payments. If they refuse to comply, I sure hope you will stand up for the SNAP recipients in our state!
