Reject Medicaid cuts, tax cuts favoring wealthy over people

This legislative package represents an alarming attack on vital social safety nets and a blatant handout to the wealthy at the expense of working families and vulnerable populations. Slashing Medicaid funding will strip healthcare access from millions, disproportionately impacting children, the elderly, and individuals with disabilities who rely on this essential program. Simultaneously, the proposed tax cuts overwhelmingly favor the ultra-rich while doing little for middle and low-income Americans. This agenda brazenly prioritizes profits over people's well-being. Instead of dismantling Medicaid, a program proven to improve health outcomes and financial security, policymakers should strengthen and expand its reach to ensure all Americans have reliable access to quality, affordable healthcare. Tax policy must also be recalibrated to create an equitable system that alleviates the burden on ordinary wage earners rather than further enriching the top percentile. A truly responsible legislative vision would invest in the social fabric, bolstering education, infrastructure, and economic opportunities to uplift communities. Gutting Medicaid to bankroll tax windfalls for the privileged few is unconscionable and antithetical to the interests of the American people. This reckless bill must be rejected outright in favor of an agenda that puts hardworking families and human well-being first.
