I demand you oppose H.R. 4, the Rescissions Act of 2025, which would cancel $9.4 billion in previously approved funding. This includes cuts to public broadcasting that provides vital educational content, global health initiatives that combat diseases like HIV/AIDS, aid for developing nations, and assistance for refugees and disaster relief efforts. Codifying these drastic cuts would undermine America's humanitarian leadership and put countless lives at risk around the world. As your constituent, I implore you to reject this reckless rescissions package that compromises core American values. These funds were already appropriated by Congress, and clawing them back now based on misguided political motives is unconscionable.
