Republicans in Congress really want to take food out of the mouths of hungry children and medicine away from the sick to fund tax cuts for people who don't need them. My children would have gone without food if not for SNAP benefits. Far too many single mothers struggle to raise their children. Now they want to punish single mothers even more by lowering the recipient age to 7! But not for 2 parent households. The cruelty is the point. Please urge your colleagues across the aisle to vote against this ludicrous bill.
