This legislation seeks to limit federal district courts’ ability to issue nationwide injunctions, thereby restricting judicial oversight of executive actions. The power of judicial review is a cornerstone of our constitutional democracy. Limiting nationwide injunctions could allow unconstitutional or unlawful executive actions to proceed unchecked, affecting individuals beyond the immediate parties to a case.
