Since 1980, the U.S. has resettled over three million refugees, yet recent executive actions have indefinitely suspended programs that provide safety to those fleeing violence and oppression. I urge you to support the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program and advocate for a Senate companion bill to the Lady Liberty Act, which was H.R. 4156 in the 118th Congress and was reintroduced by Representative Gerry Connolly on January 24, 2025. The bill is currently awaiting a new number assignment. Thank you.
