Co-sponsor the Illegal War Refund Act and do everything in your power to end this unauthorized war. Rep. Khanna's bill is straightforward: calculate what this conflict has cost Americans through higher gas, food, and interest rates, cut the Defense budget to match, and send that money back to the people who paid for it. That's not radical — that's accountability. But a refund check doesn't fix the real problem. Congress needs to pass binding legislation that strips any president of the ability to launch a war without authorization and creates real legal consequences for doing so. The War Powers Act has been ignored for decades. It's time for something with teeth. Children are dying in a war that was never debated, never voted on, and never authorized by the people's representatives. That is on Congress as much as it is on the executive. Vote to advance the Illegal War Refund Act, push for stronger war powers enforcement legislation, and use every tool available to bring this war to an end now.
