I'm writing to you again regarding the upcoming vote on the budget bill to reiterate NOT to give a single inch to the fascist agenda. In case you haven't noticed, we are in war with a fascist regime. Give that inch, and they'll take the whole mile. Do not fund ICE any further. Do not defund any more of our safety nets. Do not capitulate. The fact that they are threatening jobs in the event of a governmental shutdown means they are scared. We may be closer than we think, but ONLY if we hold tight and not give an inch. I'd rather employees get furloughed and half the country lose their job than to live in an America where the regime is emboldened to prosecute political opponents, free speech is quelched, and fascism reigns. Please find your courage to hold the line, soldier. We, your constituents, are standing behind you. We are the ones who will be in the crossfire if you capitulate to this regime.
